Basic LevelA 4 month program that consists of full off leash obedience the conditioned retrieve or otherwise known as force fetch and nonslip which is a steady retriever. The dog(s) are taught obedience on and off leash. Those commands are conditioned with an e-collar. The basic commands are "sit" which means to sit and stay until another command is given, taught the command "here" which means come when called and taught "heel" which means walk at heel and retrieve game to the heel position or working position. All bumpers and birds (dead or crippled) are delivered to hand. They are also taught not to leave to retrieve until sent by the handler. Three handed casting will begin but basically as a game.

Intermediate LevelThis is the transition level when dogs learn to be handling dogs. It includes everything in the Basic Level and land and water blinds. These dogs will be able to make retrieves of birds that they have not seen fall. They will stop quickly on the whistle and change directions on cast. They will also be exposed to decoys, gun fire, and diversions. They will be fully steady and able to run multiple mark set ups (doubles). This normally takes 6 months.

Finished LevelThis is an extension of the transition phase. Dogs will be taught very extensive blinds including poison bird blinds. They will also be taught triple marks honoring other dogs and basically anything that is expected of a Master Level dog. Training can take from 8 to 12 months.
